Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers, founded in 1882, are a London based professional football club. Many footballing legends have graced the turf at the iconic stadium (formerly Loftus Road) near Shepherds Bush. League cup winners in 1967 and pushing Liverpool all the way in 1976, finishing in the runners up spot and lead at the time by the England captain Gerry Francis. In the 1980’s the former England manager Terry Venables took the club to Wembley for the FA cup final losing narrowly to Tottenham Hotspur. QPR are currently playing in the Championship of English football league.
